Snowboarding culture has evolved an incredible amount from starting from rebellious hobbies to a global sport. In the years, 1960’s and 1970’s, snowboarding first appeared by the influences of surfing and skateboarding, however, it received a lot of backlash by many resorts and even skiers. Because of this, many snowboarders were then viewed as rebels compared to everyone else but that is when a different type of positivity for them came to light. Lovers of hip-hop, punk rock, and skateboarders helped influence the snowboarding culture when then spread to fashion, music, and a new type of hobbies to many.

In my experience, I obviously have joined the sport/hobby when it is now a very loved and popular activity to do, but I cannot think of another hobby that I want to constantly do and learn more about as well.

With all of that being said, now talking about the brands that correlate with snowboarding, Burton and DC helped so much when it comes to producing good quality equipment and fashionable clothing. With the new products for snowboarding and the different types of skills being born for the sport, it became one of the most loved and liked sports. In fact, by 1998, during the Winter Olympics, snowboarding became a huge turning point for sports all around the world.
